Axolotl

Axolotls make for exceptional pets, not just because of their striking appearance, but also due to their docile temperament. These aquatic reptiles are gentle and composed, and take pleasure in frolicking in the water, concealing themselves amidst the plants and embellishments in their tank, and observing you through the glass as you admire them.

In their natural habitat, axolotls consume snails, worms, crustaceans, small fish, and amphibians.

When kept in captivity, they can be nourished with a variety of brine shrimp and worms. However, it's not recommended to feed them worms or fish that you've caught yourself, as they may carry parasites. Vitamin and mineral supplements are typically unnecessary.
